A poem by Lee Carroll Pieper

I ran across this poem a while back...hope you enjoy!

Many are called
but most are frozen
in corporate or
collective cold,
these are the stalled
who choose not to be chosen
except to be bought and sold.

Hello! What a treat that you published this poem. My nephew was doing a poetry project and he Googled his Nana, and voila. This was a poem she enjoyed reciting given the right moment. Do you happen to remember where you found this? We'd love to view it as well. Thank you--she would've loved that you published her.
